Miracles and Awesomeness of a
Dhikr:
The Principles and Benefits of Dhikr in the Life of the World and the Hereafter
Praise be to Allah, Rabb of the worlds. Peace and salute to our Prophet Muhammad, his family and friends.
The following are the virtues of dhikr which are summarized by Ibn Qayyim Al Jauziyah in his book Al Wabilush Shoyyib. Moga can be an encouragement for us to keep this oral to continue remembrance, remembering Allah rather than doing things that are useless.
(1) casting out demons.
(2) bring the blessing of Ar Rahman.
(3) get rid of restlessness and a troubled heart.
(4) the heart becomes happy and spacious.
(5) strengthen the heart and body.
(6) illuminating the heart and the face shines.
(7) bring fortune.
(8) people who dhikr will feel the sweetness of faith and joy.
(9) bring love Ar Rahman who is the spirit of Islam.
(10) draw closer to Allah so that they are included in the group of people who do ihsan, namely worshiping Allah as if they see it.
(11) bring inabah, that is, return to Allah zza azza wa jalla. The more a person returns to Allah with a lot of dhikr on Him, then his heart will return to Allah in every circumstance.
(12) someone will get closer to Allah in accordance with the level of dhikr in Alalh h azza wa jalla. The more he is remiss from remembrance, the more distant he will be from Him.
(13) more and more ma'rifah (knowing God). The more dhikr, the more ma'rifah a person has on Allah.
(14) bring fear to Rabb ‘azza wa jalla and increasingly submit to Him. While people who are remiss from remembrance, will be increasingly deterred from fear of Allah.
(15) achieve what Allah calls in the verse,
"Then remember Me, then I will remember you." (Surat al-Baqarah: 152) If there are no virtues other than those mentioned in this verse, then the virtues mentioned are sufficient.
(16) the heart will be more alive. Ibnul Qayyim had heard his teacher, Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah said,
"Dhikr of the heart such as water needed by fish. Look what happens if the fish escapes from the water? "
(17) the heart and spirit get stronger. If someone forgets the dhikr then the condition is like a body that loses strength. Ibn al-Qayyim rahimahullah relates that Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyya once prayed Fajr once in a while and he sat in dhikr of Allah Ta'ala until morning. After that he turned to me and said, ‘This is my habit in the morning. If I do not recite like this, my strength will disappear ’- or his words like this-.
(18) dhikr makes the heart shine even more rusty. The rust of the heart is caused due to neglect of the dhikr of Allah. While the glint of the heart is dhikr, repentance and forgiveness.
(19) takes away sin because remembrance is the greatest good and goodness will remove ugliness.
(20) allay anxiety. This concern can be removed by dhikr of Allah.
(21) when a servant diligently remembers Allah, then Allah will remember himself when he needs it.
(22) if someone knows God in the field, God will know him in a narrow situation.
(23) rescuing someone from the adzab of hell.
(24) dzikir causes descent of sakinah (calm), shade of grace, and surrounded by angels.
(25) dhikr causes verbal more busy so as to avoid ghibah (gossiping), namimah (sheepfighting), falsehood, cruel and vanity deeds.
(26) the assembly of dhikr is the assembly of angels and the assembly of those who neglect the dhikr is the assembly of Satan.
(27) the person who makes zikr is so happy, so will he make people happy around him.
(28) will provide security for a servant from loss on the Day of Judgment.
(29) because of the weeping of the person who dhikr, then Allah will give shelter to him on a very hot doomsday.
(30) the busyness of someone in the dhikr is because Allah gave him more than what was given to the beggar.
(31) dhikr is the lightest worship, but the worship is very noble.
(32) dhikr is a paradise plant.
(33) giving and virtue that is given to people who dhikr, not given to other practices.
(34) always remembrance of Allah makes it impossible for someone to forget Him. The person who forgets God is the cause of his misery in his life and the day he is returned. Someone who forgets Allah causes him to forget himself and benefit for himself. Allah Ta'ala said,
"And do not be like those who forget Allah, then Allah makes them forget themselves. Those are the wicked. " (Surat al-Hashr: 19)
(35) Dhikr is the light of its owner in the world, the grave, and the day of awakening.
(36) dhikr is ro’sul umuur (the core of all matters). Who is opened to him the ease of dzikir, then he will get a variety of goodness. Who escapes from this door, then escapes him from various goodnesses.
(37) the dhikr will warn the sleeping heart. The heart can become aware of dhikr.
(38) the person who dhikr will get closer to Allah and be with Him. Togetherness here is a special togetherness, not just God together in the sense of knowing or encompassing. But this togetherness makes closer, get trusteeship, love, help and taufik Allah. As Allah the Exalted said,
"Surely Allah is with those who fear Allah and those who do good." (Surat an Nahl: 128)
"And Allah is with those who are patient." (Surat al-Baqarah: 249)
"And surely Allah is truly with those who do good." (Surat al-Ankabut: 69)
"Do not mourn, surely Allah is with us." (Surah At Taubah: 40)
(39) That dhikr can equal a person who frees slaves, puts up wealth, and rides a horse in the way of Allah, and can also equal someone who fights with a sword in the way of Allah.
As in the hadith,
"Whoever utters‘ Laa ilaha illallah wahdahu laa syarika is lahul mulku, wa lahul hamdu, wa huwa ‘ala kulli syain qodiir a day as many as 100 times a day, so it is like freeing 10 slaves." [1]
40) dhikr is the essence of being grateful. It is not thankful to Allah Ta'ala people who are reluctant to dhikr. The Prophet sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam said to Mu’adz,
"O Mu'adz, by Allah, truly I love you. By Allah, I love you. " Then the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "I advise you -wahai Mu'adz-, do not leave at each end of the prayer reading' Allahumma a'inni 'ala dzikrika wa syukrika wa husni' ibadatik '(O Allah help me to dhikr and give thanks and worship good to You). [2] In this hadith combined dhikr and gratitude. Similarly, Allah Ta'ala combines the two in the word of Allah Ta'ala,
"Therefore, remember you to Me, I will remember (also) to you, and be thankful to Me, and do not deny (my favor)." (Surat al-Baqarah: 152) This shows that the merging of dhikr and gratitude is a way to achieve happiness and good luck.
(41) the most noble creatures are pious ones whose mouths are always wet with dhikr on Allah. It is these people who carry out orders and stay away from God's prohibitions. He also made the dhikr as his Shi'a.
(42) There is a hard heart and melt it with dhikr of Allah. Therefore, anyone who wants his hard heart to heal, then dhikr on Allah.
Someone said to Al Hasan, "O Abu Sa'id, I complained to you about the hardness of my heart." Al Hasan said, "Soften with remembrance of Allah."
Because the heart becomes more and more negligent, the harder it becomes. If someone remembers Allah, melt the hardness of heart as the tin melts with fire. Then the hardness of the heart will melt like that, namely by dhikr on Allah zza azza wa jalla.
(43) Dhikr is a remedy for the liver while negligence from dzikir is a disease of the liver. The cure for a broken heart is by dhikr of Allah.
Mak-huul, a tabi'in, said, "Dhikr to Allah is a medicine (for the heart). While busy talking about (‘disgrace) humans, it is a disease."
(44) there is nothing that makes it easy for someone to reach Allah's blessings and be saved from His wrath other than dhikr to Allah. So dhikr is the cause of the coming and rejecting the wrath of Allah. Allah Ta'ala said,
"Indeed, if you are grateful, surely we will add (favor) to you." (Surah Ibrahim: 7). Dhikr is the essence of gratitude as mentioned earlier. While gratitude will bring pleasure and more grateful will make more and more favors.
(45) dhikr causes the blessings of Allah and his angels to come to those who dhikr. And whoever gets the blessings (praise) of Allah and angels, truly he has benefited greatly. Allah Ta'ala said,
"O you who believe, recite (in the name of) Allah, dhikr as much as possible. And glorify Him in the morning and evening. He is the one who gave mercy to you and His angels (asking forgiveness for you), so that He will bring you out of the darkness into the light (the light). and is He Most Merciful to those who believe. " (Surat al-Ahzab: 41-43)
(46) Dhikr to Allah is a big help so that someone can easily obey. Because Allah is the one who made me love the devout practice, He is the one who makes it easy and makes it feel good to do it. Similarly, God who made these practices as eye conditioning, feels good and there is a sense of joy. People who are diligent in dhikr will not find difficulties and heaviness when doing the practice of obedience, is different from those who are negligent of dhikr. So much evidence bears witness to this.
(47) dhikr on Allah will make that difficulty easy, something that feels like a heavy burden will be light, even difficulties will get a way out. Dhikr in Allah really brings a spaciousness after previously falling into trouble.
(48) dhikr of Allah will eliminate the fear that is in the soul and calm will always be achieved. While people who are remiss from remembrance will always feel afraid and never feel a sense of security.
(49) dhikr will give a person strength to the point that he can do amazing things. That is because it is accompanied by dhikr. An example is Ibn Taymiyyah who is very amazing in his words, writings, and strength. The writings of Ibn Taymiyyah which he compiled a day are the same as someone who writes by copying writing for a week or more. Likewise on the battlefield, he was known to be very strong. This is an amazing thing from people who are diligent in dhikr.
(50) people who always make dhikr while on the road, at home, on green land, when safar, or in various places, it will get him to get many witnesses on the Day of Judgment. Because of these places, mountains and land, will be a witness for someone on the Day of Judgment. We can see this in the word of Allah Ta'ala,
"When the earth is shaken with (terrible) shaking, and the earth has issued heavy burdens (contained), and humans ask:" Why is the earth (being like this)? ", On that day the earth tells the news, because your Lord has actually ordered (such) to him. " (Qur'an, Zalzalah: 1-5)
(51) if someone busied himself with dhikr, then he will be neglected from vanity words such as ghibah (gossiping), namimah (pitting sheep), vain words, praising humans, and denouncing humans. Because verbal can not be silent at all. Oral may be oral diligent dhikr and may be oral neglect. Oral conditions are one of the two conditions earlier. Remember that if the soul is not preoccupied with truth, then it will be preoccupied with vain. [3]
